What are the ways students can think critically while taking notes?

You can read more attentively and critically, take more insightful notes, and be ready for exams by reviewing or rereading books after class. Other times, you could be required to conduct independent research for a project, therefore you must be able to recognise reliable academic sources. We know that reading, note-taking, and writing include more than merely copying and pasting information into your assignments. Learning through copying without comprehending is not very successful. Additionally, it may result in plagiarism, which has major repercussions. Your purpose for reading will determine what you write. If you are reading for an assignment, you might concentrate on how this knowledge connects to the assignment task or consider how or where you will utilise it in the assignment. Your comments are important because they can provide context. Your comments may also expand on what you have read and underlined in the left-hand column, show how you interpret this data in light of your own beliefs, or just serve as notes outlining why you believed a particular concept was sound.
